Werder Bremen Signs Swiss WM Player Cedric Itten

Werder Bremen has signed Swiss WM player Cedric Itten. The 29-year-old striker moves from Fortuna Düsseldorf to Werder Bremen. Itten scored 15 goals in the previous season and brings experience and scoring ability to the team.

Why Itten Chose Werder Bremen

Itten received offers from other clubs, but he decided on Werder Bremen. "I had other options. But I had a good feeling about Werder Bremen from the start. Also because of the coach (Daniel Thioune, d. Red.). I know him from Düsseldorf. He is outstandingly human and I like his way of playing football. The overall package is simply perfect, that's why I signed during the WM", Itten says.

Itten's Qualities

Itten is known for his scoring abilities. The striker has already scored 37 goals in his career. "I know my qualities and work hard every day. That's my mentality. Everything else comes automatically, and so one achieves the luck that turns into scorer points", Itten says.
