Werder Bremen is asking its fans to pay more. The club is increasing the prices for season tickets at the Weser Stadium by 8.8 percent. The new prices will apply from the 2026/2027 season. Season tickets for standing areas will cost 230 euros from the new season. At least 405 euros must be paid for a season ticket for a seated area. The club describes the increase as "moderate". Werder has been important to maintain the social hierarchy. The increase is also necessary due to increased costs for security and order personnel. The price adjustment is part of a responsible planning to make Werder long-term economically stable and sportingly competitive. According to the club's statements, season tickets remain "significantly subsidized" compared to single tickets. Werder also points out that there is still a very high demand for season tickets. In the previous season, around 18,000 people had registered on a waiting list. The prices are in the middle compared to other Bundesliga clubs.
