Despite a disappointing season with only five wins in 17 home games, Werder Bremen is increasing season ticket prices for the upcoming Bundesliga season. The increase of an average of 8.8 percent has several reasons, according to the club. We had to react to the increased costs, including in the security and order personnel area, said Managing Director Klaus Filbry. At the same time, the price increase also means an increase in revenue for the club. This is intended to help Werder become economically stable and competitive in the long term, said Filbry. Social stratification of offers In concrete terms, the Bremer are increasing the prices for a standing season ticket only by 3.6 percent from 222 to 230 euros. The abo tickets in the high-priced area are, on the other hand, up to 12 percent more expensive. We wanted to make the adjustment moderate and maintain the social stratification of the offers, explained Klaus Filbry. Werder sells around 27,000 season tickets per season. Holders of such tickets have a pre-order right for the following season. For this reason, the Bremer maintain a waiting list for season tickets, on which currently around 18,000 names are listed. Werder last increased prices in 2024 and will do so again at the earliest in 2028.
