Werder Bremen is reportedly set to sign goalkeeper Florian Kastenmeier. The 28-year-old will make a decision on his future in the near future. Currently, there are indications that a move to Werder Bremen is likely. There, the 28-year-old would have to initially accept the role as second-choice behind Karl Hein (24). According to the ‚DeichStube‘, there was also a trail to Stefan Ortega (33), who is leaving Nottingham Forest due to contract expiration. Kastenmeier recently announced that he would not extend his expiring contract with Fortuna Düsseldorf. The last interested parties were also Hannover 96, VfL Wolfsburg and SC Paderborn, but the corresponding trails have since cooled down.
