The schedule for the Women's Bundesliga was only finalized on Friday afternoon. In the afternoon, SV Werder Bremen announced that none of the remaining home games of the Werder Women would take place at the Bremen Weserstadion.
Why is this important for Werder?
The decision was not easy for us, said Klaus Filbry, Werder's CEO. We would have liked to reward the Werder Women for their best season so far in the Google Pixel Women's Bundesliga with another game at Weserstadion.
